We are brand new to this delightful breed!  Showgirl Silkies were created
by crossing a Naked Neck (Turken) with a Silkie chicken.

This created the chickens you see in the photos below! But nothing is
ever that simple.

Breeding "Showgirl" to "Showgirl" tends to create it's own problems. Too
much naked neck; reduced feathering.

So our breeding program will involve a lot of experimental breeding as
we find out what works best.
