Rainbow Gate Farm Presents . . .
CM DOX SMART LENA presented
us with this little bay filly sired by
Diamon H Texas Pine on April 17th
2006! The filly has one white sock
and no other white markings.
"Lena" has Doc O' Lena right on her
papers on the top and Peponita on
the bottom. Shown below at 5
months. FILLY IS SOLD.
Here she is with Mom out in the
pasture at three days of age!
The first 2006 foal was a red dun stud colt sired by Mr Golden
Bonanza out of our sorrel AQHA mare, "Just Send Cash".
Born Saturday April 15th 2006!
Sadly, we must report that this colt died. He was born with
bowed tendons and was unable to stand and nurse. We
bottle fed him his dam's milk and supplemental goat milk, but
he died at six days of age on April 21st 2006.
Wild Duchess Bars has foaled. A gorgeous
palomino, overo filly sired by Mr Golden
Bonanza was born on April 19th 2006. Filly
has high white stockings, a bald face and white
spots on her belly.
This filly was a surprise because we though
Duchess was bred to our blue roan stallion!
So the filly's name will be "Nana's Surprise."
Shown here at three days of age. Filly is sold.
Meet little "Joy". Our black AQHA mare Jack's Little Igmo aka "Jetta" has foaled on May 4,
2006. Joy looks brown in the photos but all black based horses are born a "mousy brown"
color before they shed to black or in this case to blue roan. Joy's sire was Diaman H Texas
Pine, our blue roan stallion. Jetta is a very protective mama but I managed to snap a few
pics while she wasn't looking! This filly is for sale for $500. She is roaning out beautifully.
SOLD
"JUST IN SPRING" has foaled! We have a replica of our retired stallion Mr Golden Bonanza in this fine
young colt! Born May 9th 2006! Photos taken the same day at one day old! This colt, named Rainbow
Gate Bonanza has gone to Indiana as a stud. Congratulations to Christine.
Our 21-year-old AQHA mare Poco San
Toni Lwr aka Sheena has foaled- a
black filly on May 20th 2006! Sired by
Diamon H Texas Pine. Sheena is a
little thin here after foaling but we will
be keeping a close eye on her and
will bring her in to a stall if need be to
hand feed her. Filly is Sold.
Look what was hiding in the bushes to the edge of the pasture lying as quiet as a mouse. Paul nearly stepped on the dear little thing when he climbed over the fence. It didn't move even when we got close enough to take these photos!
